Get Your Voters Card - Mudashiru Urges Nigerian Youths

The Legislative Leader of Eti-Osa Local Government of Lagos State Hon. Mudasiru Sadiku Olayinka has emphasized the need for Nigerian youths to join active politics and  obtain their voter's cards so as to be part of the electoral process in the country.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to his Igbon-Efon Office in Lagos. The Council Leader, who  turned  to a clergyman,  in his sermon to Nigerian youths, stressed that it was high time Nigeria's youth abstained from social media politics but get involved in a practical process of the country by  joining a political party, obtaining their voters card, seeking for elected positions  and contribute meaningfully to the socio- economic development of the country.

He pointed out that Nigerian youths should see themselves as leaders of today, explaining that one of the key components that would equip them for  leadership position was  to join active politics in their various areas and not on social media.
He urged the youths to de-emphasise  their socials lifestyles but rechanneled  their energy towards critical areas that would upscale the country and not spreading fake news on social media that would deter the socio- economic progress of the country.

He spoke on the election as the legislative Leader of the Council, stating that he would continue to strive towards ensuring that there was a synergy between the Legislative and Executive arm of government which would translate to meaningful governance and  improve infrastructure in the Local Government.
He spoke on the efforts of the Local Government towards reducing flooding in all the Council areas by introducing regular clearing of drainages and canals, pointing out that the Council Chairman was poised at ensuring that dividends of democracy was delivered to the people.
He hinted that regular meetings would be held with the CDA's, CDC among other critical leaders in all the wards of the Local Government, so as to re-evaluate their demand which would inform the Local Government on areas that need higher concentration.

The Council Leader also spoke on the 85th birthday anniversary of Oba Akinloye, stating that the monarch remain  a big blessing to Eti-Osa, stressing that,  the monarch had demonstrated humility and passion for the socio- economic development of the  people, praying for many more years of purposeful celebration.
Hon. Olayinka further reassured the people in Eti-Osa that, the current administration in the Local Government would continue to strive towards meeting  with the expectations of the people through the provision of infrastructural amenities in due cause at the grassroots.
